Governor Dikko Umaru Radda on Wednesday led a high-powered delegation of the Katsina State Government to the burial of Hajia Hauwa (Maijeddah) Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, wife of the Chief of Staff, Government House, Katsina.

The Janazah prayer was held shortly after the Zuhr prayer at the GRA Mosque Katsina, where family members, government officials, and sympathisers gathered to pay their last respects.
The deceased was later laid to rest at the Gidan Dawa Cemetery.

Islamic clerics and other religious leaders offered prayers for the repose of her soul, asking Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, while also praying for strength and patience for the bereaved family.
The government delegation included the Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Garba Faskari; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasir Yahaya Daura; Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; Senator representing Funtua Zone, Muntari Dandutse; and the Head of Service, Falalu Bawale.

Also in attendance were members of the Katsina State House of Assembly, the State Executive Council, the Chief Judge of Katsina State, the Grand Khadi, senior government officials, and other dignitaries from within and outside the state.
Party members, relatives, friends, and associates of the deceased, alongside community and religious leaders, were present to offer prayers and condolences to the family.
