The Federal University Dutsin-Ma has announced the commencement of online registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise, inviting eligible Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry candidates to apply for admission into the institution.
According to a notification issued by the University’s Academic Affairs Division, the registration exercise commenced on June 1 and will close on July 31, 2026.
The university stated that only candidates who selected FUDMA as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
The institution outlined different admission benchmarks for its programmes. Candidates seeking admission into Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography, Audiology, Human Physiology, Human Anatomy, Engineering courses and all programmes in the Faculty of Law are required to have a minimum JAMB score of 180.
Applicants seeking admission into Accounting, Economics, Political Science, Library and Information Science, Sociology, Mass Communication, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Microbiology must score at least 160 marks.
For most other programmes across the faculties of Agriculture, Computing, Education, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Management Sciences, Social Sciences and Arts, candidates are required to obtain a minimum score of 150.
The university also specified admission requirements for Direct Entry candidates, including a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma and National Innovative Diploma programmes, nine points at the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), and prescribed IJMB scores depending on the course of study.
FUDMA explained that the screening exercise would be conducted entirely online, urging applicants to upload all required documents and ensure their O’Level results are uploaded on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal before they can be considered for admission.
Eligible candidates are required to register through the university’s admission portal and pay a screening fee of ₦2,000.
The institution advised applicants to provide accurate personal and academic information, including active email addresses and phone numbers, noting that all official communication regarding the admission process would be conducted electronically.
The notification was signed by the Admission Officer, Muhammad Sahadanu Abba, on behalf of the Registrar.
University authorities urged prospective students to complete their registration before the deadline and to consult the institution’s website and support channels for further guidance on the application process.
