Members of the Danwaire family from Batsari Local Government Area have paid a condolence visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, over the death of the late Sarkin Ruma, Hakimin Batsari.
The visit, which took place today at the Emir’s Palace, was in sympathy with the Emir following the passing of the Sarkin Ruma during the Emir’s recent trip outside the state.
During the visit, the Emir of Katsina advised members of the Danwaire family to remain united and strengthen their family bonds. He also urged them to continue upholding good character and moral values within their communities.
Speaking on behalf of the family, the Gado-da-Masun Katsina, Hakimin Wagini, Alhaji Dikko Mu’azu, said the visit was to commiserate with the Emir over the loss of the Sarkin Ruma.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the deceased and for continued good health and prosperity for the Emir and the people of Katsina State.
The delegation included the Chairman of Batsari Local Government, Alhaji Manir Mu’azu; the Danwairen Katsina, Dr. Sada Salisu Rumah; and other relatives and successors of the late Sarkin Ruma, Alhaji Tukur Mu’azu.
