Radda Urges Unity, Compassion as Muslims Celebrate Eid-el-Fitr

-

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has extended Eid-el-Fitr greetings to the Muslim Ummah, urging residents of Katsina State to uphold unity, compassion, and the virtues cultivated during the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued on March 19, 2026, by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the governor congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and called for sustained commitment to peaceful coexistence across the state.

Radda emphasized the need for Muslims to carry forward the values of patience, self-discipline, and empathy learned during Ramadan into their daily lives, noting that these principles are essential for strengthening community bonds.

He expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to witness the sacred month, adding that the lessons of charity, devotion, and kindness should not end with Ramadan but continue to shape attitudes and actions throughout the year.

The governor also called on the Muslim community to sustain prayers for peace, security, and prosperity in Katsina State and Nigeria at large.

He prayed that Allah accepts the عبادات of the faithful, forgives their shortcomings, and blesses the state and the nation with enduring peace and unity.
