The member representing Bakori–Danja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai (Tafidan Danja), has launched the distribution of educational materials to selected schools across the constituency in a bid to support learning, particularly among students from less privileged backgrounds.
The initiative, which covers eight schools across Bakori and Danja local government areas, was formally unveiled at the Education Hall of the Bakori Local Government Education Authority.

Speaking at the event, the Education Secretary of the Bakori Local Government Education Authority, Malam Rabi’u Abdulqadir Kwantakwaran, expressed appreciation for the intervention, noting that such support is timely and essential in boosting students’ morale and encouraging school attendance, especially in the current economic climate.
A representative of the implementing agency assured stakeholders that the materials supplied met the required standards in both quality and quantity, adding that the project was executed strictly in line with approved specifications.
The books were subsequently handed over to principals, headmasters and ward special assistants representing the benefiting schools. The institutions include Government Day Secondary School Kakumi, Government Day Secondary School Tsiga, Nadabo Primary School in Bakori, Tamarke Primary School, Government Secondary School Tandama in Danja, Government Day Secondary School Kokami (Yakaji A), Madaki Primary School in Dabai, and Balarabe Primary School.

The initiative is part of Hon. Dabai’s broader commitment to strengthening the education sector within Bakori–Danja through targeted interventions aimed at improving access to learning materials and enhancing academic performance.
Stakeholders at the event offered prayers for the lawmaker, asking for continued strength, good health and greater opportunities for him to further serve the people of the constituency.
