KATSINA — Governors Mai Mala Buni, Ahmad Aliyu, and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq are set to commission key road and education projects in Katsina State as part of activities lined up by the administration of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda.
The projects, scheduled for inauguration on May 1, 2, and 6, 2026, form part of ongoing efforts by the state government to expand infrastructure and improve education.

Yobe Governor, Mai Mala Buni
Briefing journalists, Commissioner for Information, Bala Salisu Zango, said Governor Buni will inaugurate the newly constructed and upgraded Ingawa–Shargalle Road on May 1 at Ingawa town.

Sokoto Governor, Ahmad Aliyu
He added that Governor Aliyu will later the same day commission the dualised Yandaki–Shinkafi to Kofar Sauri Junction Road, following a tour through the project corridor.

Kwara Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq
Zango further disclosed that on May 6, Governor Abdulrazaq, who also chairs the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, will commission a multi-billion-naira Smart School project in Radda town.
He described the Smart School as a major investment aimed at transforming education and boosting human capital development in the state.
The Katsina State Government said the projects reflect its commitment to infrastructure expansion and improved service delivery across key sectors.
