-

The Katsina State Government has disbursed more than ₦207 million to 79 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the state under the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA)–Bank of Industry (BOI) Managed Loan Initiative.

According to the agency, the funds—totalling ₦207,769,675.37—represent the fifth tranche released through the KASEDA–BOI loan programme aimed at improving access to finance for MSMEs and boosting economic growth.

The initiative is part of the broader economic agenda of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, who has prioritised entrepreneurship development, enterprise expansion, and job creation as key components of his administration’s strategy for economic transformation.

KASEDA described the latest disbursement as a significant step toward strengthening small businesses and enhancing productivity across the state. The Director General of the agency, Dr. Babangida Kabir Ruma, congratulated the beneficiaries and expressed confidence that the financial support would accelerate business growth and contribute positively to the state’s economy.

He reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to empowering MSME operators and driving sustainable development through targeted interventions.

A list of all 79 beneficiaries was released alongside the announcement.
