In a statement issued on Friday, the Head of the Public Relations Unit of KASEDA, Hauwa Ibrahim Jikamshi, said the exercise concerns 2,392 applicants who have been shortlisted under the scheme and is currently ongoing at the Katsina Branch of the Bank of Industry.

According to the statement, all shortlisted applicants are required to visit the BOI office with relevant documents to facilitate the processing of their loans. The mandatory documents include a KASEDA registration certificate, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration certificate for companies or businesses, company or business account details, National Identification Number (NIN) card, tax clearance certificate of the company, and four recent passport photographs.

Applicants are also required to submit a completed guarantor form endorsed either by a senior civil servant on Grade Level 8 to 15 with not less than five years to retirement, or by a business owner with a valid CAC registration certificate.

The agency advised applicants to ensure that all required documents are complete and properly arranged to avoid delays in the loan processing.

The statement quoted the Director General of KASEDA, Dr. Babangida Kabir Ruma, as reaffirming the commitment of Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, to promoting the growth and sustainability of micro, small and medium enterprises across the state.

Dr. Ruma further noted that KASEDA would continue to implement programmes aimed at expanding access to finance and strengthening enterprise development for entrepreneurs and business operators in Katsina State.

He expressed appreciation for the cooperation of the applicants and expressed optimism that the documentation exercise would be conducted smoothly and successfully, the statement added.
