“In the history of my reign in Katsina, we have not witnessed a gathering of this nature,” he said, while commending guests for their orderly conduct.

He urged citizens to uphold Islamic values, avoid envy and jealousy, and promote unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence. The monarch also called on traditional and religious leaders to intensify efforts toward sustaining peace and development in society.

Other dignitaries at the event included Katsina Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe; Jigawa State Deputy Governor Engr. Aminu Usman Gumel; the Emir of Daura, Faruk Umar Faruk; and the Sultan of Damagaram (Zinder), El Hadji Aboubacar Oumarou Sanda. Also present were businessman Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, Special Adviser on Political Matters Kabir Ibrahim Masari, federal lawmakers, state legislators, and local government chairmen.

Meanwhile, in Radda town, jubilant scenes greeted the return of the new Gwagwaren Katsina II, Alhaji Muhammadu Dikko Radda, as residents trooped out in large numbers to welcome him following his turbaning.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement as family members, community leaders, and well-wishers lined the streets to receive the new traditional titleholder. Islamic clerics offered prayers for a successful tenure, while elders gave words of advice and encouragement.
