Governor Dikko Umaru Radda on Wednesday joined fellow governors and top political figures at the All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West Zonal Congress held in Kaduna.
The event, hosted by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Hall, brought together key stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress from across the North-West region.
Governor Radda, who also chairs the North-West Governors Forum, participated in deliberations aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the APC ahead of future political activities.
A major highlight of the congress was the election of members into the APC North-West Zonal Executive Committee, followed by the swearing-in of newly elected officials—an exercise party leaders described as crucial to consolidating the party’s structure in the zone.
The newly elected Zonal Chairman delivered an acceptance speech, after which Governor Uba Sani presented a keynote address, alongside remarks from other party leaders.
The congress was attended by governors from Kano, Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto, and Kebbi states, as well as prominent national figures including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Deputy Senate President, Barau I. Jibrin; and the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
Former governors, ministers, deputy governors, and members of the business community were also in attendance.
