The initiatives, fully funded by the respective local councils, target women, youths, and small business owners, providing sewing machines, grinding machines, motorcycles, cash support, and other resources to boost self-reliance and local economic growth.

In Kankia, beneficiaries received hundreds of millions of naira worth of materials, while Governor Radda announced plans to renovate the Kankia Earth Dam, upgrade the General Hospital, and repair the Jumaat Mosque. In Ingawa, the programme included ₦40 million in cash, motorcycles, and equipment, alongside plans to rehabilitate the Ingawa Earth Dam for irrigation and agriculture. Kusada’s initiative distributed ₦30 million, equipment, and vehicles, with major road projects nearing completion to improve connectivity.

The Kusada event also saw key figures from opposition parties, including PDP, APGA, and PRP, formally decamp to the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging loyalty to Governor Radda.

APC leaders and traditional rulers praised the Governor’s inclusive, people-centered leadership and his commitment to empowering communities, strengthening security, and transforming Katsina State.
