Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of Nigeria’s presidential delegation on an official State Visit to the United Kingdom.
The high-level visit, scheduled for March 18–19, 2026, marks a significant diplomatic engagement aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and the UK.

Governor Radda’s inclusion in the delegation underscores Katsina State’s alignment with national development priorities and its interest in fostering international partnerships. Other members of the delegation include First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, the Senate President, several state governors, federal ministers, and leading figures from the business community.
During the visit, President Tinubu and the First Lady are expected to be received by King Charles III at Windsor Castle. The royal hosts will showcase a special exhibition from the Royal Collection highlighting historical ties with Nigeria, followed by a State Banquet in honour of the Nigerian delegation.
Observers note that Governor Radda’s participation presents an opportunity for Katsina State to build strategic connections that could translate into investment inflows and broader economic benefits.
The visit is expected to deepen diplomatic and economic cooperation while opening new avenues for collaboration between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
