Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the appointment of Mas’ud Mustapha Banye as Acting Head of the State Civil Service, with immediate effect.
The appointment was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Office of the Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Faskari.
According to the statement, the appointment is part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen the civil service and enhance efficient service delivery in line with the government’s Building Your Future Agenda.
Governor Radda congratulated Banye on his appointment and charged him to provide purposeful leadership, uphold professionalism and drive reforms within the state civil service.
Until his appointment, Banye served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Local Government and Emirate Affairs.
The new Acting Head of Service is expected to assume the responsibility of coordinating the state’s civil service and supporting ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and service delivery.
