Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service as part of efforts to strengthen public administration.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the Head of the Civil Service, Malam Falalu Bawale.
Those appointed are Hussaini Hamisu from Baure Local Government Area, Abdu Usman from Dan Musa Local Government Area, Dr. Sani Suleiman from Funtua Local Government Area, and Dr. Shamsudeen Yahaya from Kankiya Local Government Area.
According to the statement, the appointments were made based on the confidence that the new Permanent Secretaries possess the competence, integrity and dedication required to discharge their responsibilities diligently in the interest of the Katsina State Civil Service.
The Head of the Civil Service congratulated the newly appointed officials and wished them success as well as Allah’s guidance in the discharge of their duties.
The appointments take immediate effect.
