Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has accepted his nomination as the Katsina State Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Radda, who is also seeking re-election as governor of Katsina State, pledged to lead an energetic and inclusive campaign to mobilise support for President Tinubu and the APC across the state.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Governor expressed appreciation to President Tinubu and the APC national leadership for the confidence reposed in him.
He said his campaign strategy would focus on mobilising APC members, political stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and other supporters across the state’s 361 wards ahead of the 2027 elections.

Radda also welcomed the inclusion of other Katsina indigenes in the Presidential Campaign Council, describing it as a reflection of the state’s record of producing individuals who distinguish themselves professionally and contribute to important state and national assignments.
He expressed confidence that the experience and commitment of Katsina members of the council would strengthen the APC’s campaign and contribute to securing victory for President Tinubu and the party.
The Governor consequently urged members of the Presidential Campaign Council from Katsina, party leaders and APC stakeholders across the state to intensify grassroots mobilisation.
According to him, the party’s performance in the 2023 elections demonstrated its strength in Katsina, but the forthcoming contest would require greater unity and commitment.
“We demonstrated our strength and commitment to the APC in 2023. This is another opportunity for us to work even harder, remain united and mobilise our people for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Radda said.
He added: “We are ready for the task, and Katsina State will play its full part in delivering victory for the President and our great party.”
