The Frontline Development Association (FRONDA) has taken its girl-child education and health promotion campaign to Inwalar-Jangefe Primary School in Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, advocating the enrolment, retention and completion of primary education by girls.
The campaign, held on Monday, October 12, 2026, was organised by FRONDA with the support of the school’s head teacher to promote girl-child education and healthy living among pupils.

Speaking at the event, a health educator, Hajia Umma Rumana, emphasised the importance of personal hygiene, particularly among girls, noting that good hygiene practices contribute to healthy living and overall development.
The Chairman of FRONDA, Alhaji Abdullahi Hassan Dutsinma, commended the school’s management and teachers for their punctuality and efforts to maintain a clean learning environment.
Dutsinma said the association was impressed by the conduct of the teachers and pupils, particularly the teachers’ commitment to attending school on time and ensuring that pupils remained within the school environment.
“We haven’t seen any pupil roaming in the school environment, and this shows that every teacher attends to his or her classes. This is impressive,” he said.
The association’s Director of Education, Abdullahi Yusuf Nadabo, and Deputy Director, Hajia Madiha Yakubu Haruna, also spoke on the importance of education as a tool for development and social integration.

They highlighted the need to encourage girls to pursue education, stressing the role of schooling in equipping children with the knowledge and skills required to contribute meaningfully to society.
The programme ended with pupils expressing their determination to continue their education to university level.
