Speaking at the occasion, she described the celebration as a positive step toward inculcating the culture of wearing the hijab among female students. Tracing the historical and religious foundations of hijab in Islam, Dr. Radda urged parents to closely monitor the movement and conduct of their daughters to ensure moral discipline and a secure future.

She further encouraged students to remain focused on their academic pursuits and prayed for their success.

In his remarks, the State Commander of the Hisbah Board, Dr. Aminu Usman Abu Ammar, emphasised the religious importance of wearing the hijab in line with Islamic teachings. He noted that the board has introduced policies aimed at promoting modest dressing among female Muslims in the state.

Other speakers at the event included the Member representing Dutsinma at the Katsina State House of Assembly, Muhammad Abubakar Kamis; Malam Ado Garba Yankaji; and Hajiya Rabi Abdullahi Ako.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Alqalam University, Professor Amina Muhammad Sani, alongside Dr. Murja Duwan, delivered lectures highlighting the Islamic perspective on hijab.

Highlights of the celebration included the distribution of hijabs donated by Dr. Radda, as well as award presentations to her and the Hisbah Commander in recognition of their contributions.
