Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai, member of the House of Representatives representing Bakori/Danja Federal Constituency, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, continued his Ramadan outreach with visits to party leaders and stakeholders across the two local government areas.
During the visit, the lawmaker congratulated executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bakori and Danja on their re-election for a second term in office. He also provided financial support to party executives at various levels, from the state executive committee to local government executives, to assist with Ramadan-related expenses.
Party officials who received the support expressed appreciation for the gesture and offered prayers for the lawmaker.
In a related development, Dabai also distributed financial assistance to selected women and youths drawn from different political support groups within the constituency. According to organisers, each political group nominated 10 beneficiaries, who received ₦20,000 each.
The beneficiaries were drawn from various political groups in Danja and Bakori Local Government Areas, including groups affiliated with local political figures and community leaders.
The initiative, according to the lawmaker’s media team, was aimed at promoting unity and strengthening cohesion within the APC structure in the constituency.
Additionally, financial support was extended to members of organised labour and security-related groups, including the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), health workers, and security agencies such as the Police, Immigration Service, Department of State Services (DSS), community watch groups, vigilante organisations and Hisbah.
Observers note that Ramadan welfare distributions have become a common feature of political engagement in many constituencies, often serving both humanitarian and political mobilisation purposes.
