AB Dabai Spends Over ₦47 Million on Constituency Projects and Interventions in December 2025

The member representing Bakori–Danja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai (Tafidan Danja), expended over ₦47 million on a wide range of constituency-focused projects and interventions in December 2025, covering youth development, empowerment, education, health, security, religion and humanitarian support.

A breakdown of activities released by the Bakori–Danja Media Team shows that significant attention was given to youths and sports development during the month. Under the Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai Peace and Unity Cup, the lawmaker approved an additional ₦2,562,000 to complement earlier disbursements, bringing total expenditure on the tournament and related activities to ₦15 million.

In the area of humanitarian services, a total of ₦1,260,000 was spent on assistance to vulnerable individuals and families. This was complemented by the second phase of the 2025 empowerment programme, which gulped ₦20 million and targeted constituents across different wards with financial and material support to boost livelihoods.

Hon. Dabai also provided financial assistance amounting to ₦2,080,000 to support marriages, naming ceremonies and bereavement activities within the constituency, while ₦200,000 was committed to security-related support. Education interventions during the month attracted ₦1,503,000, reflecting continued efforts to support learning and educational development in Bakori–Danja.

Support for community-based organisations and voluntary groups accounted for ₦397,000, while the health sector received ₦500,000 to assist medical-related needs of constituents. In the area of water supply, three mono water pumps were repaired at a cost of ₦354,000 to improve access to water in affected communities.

The lawmaker also spent ₦1,670,000 on ward visits and community engagements aimed at strengthening interaction with constituents and addressing grassroots concerns. Social media engagement and communication activities accounted for ₦5,250,000 during the period.

Religious activities were not left out, as ₦1,250,000 was spent on Christmas support, alongside an earlier disbursement of ₦50,150. In addition, ₦10,495,000 was set aside for the training and retraining of Islamic religious scholars, including preparations and the procurement of teaching and learning materials.

Overall, the total expenditure on constituency-related activities in December 2025 stood at ₦47,321,000. The media team quoted prayers for continued divine guidance, good health and greater opportunities for the lawmaker to further serve the people of Bakori–Danja Federal Constituency.
