Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai, member of the House of Representatives representing Bakori/Danja Federal Constituency, has distributed food items worth millions of naira to residents of the constituency to support them during the Ramadan fast.
The distribution, which began on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, is being coordinated by a special committee set up in Bakori Local Government Area. The committee is chaired by Hon. Abdullahi Isyaku, alongside Hon. Sagir Liman (Guga) and Hon. Adamu Tijjani Karofi.

According to organisers, beneficiaries were drawn from all 21 wards in the constituency. The lawmaker directed that distribution be carried out through polling units to ensure orderly allocation to constituents.
In addition to the general distribution, special consideration was given to vulnerable households, including families of deceased persons and orphans, with food items delivered directly to some homes.

Items distributed include 25kg bags of rice, white beans and millet. Some beneficiaries also received 4kg of Tom Brown (a fortified cereal blend) and 12 litres of cooking oil. Each beneficiary reportedly received at least 25kg each of rice, beans and millet.
