KATSINA — Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has directed the establishment of Tinubu/Dikko 2027 Campaign Council structures across Katsina State’s 34 local government areas and 361 electoral wards, with all LGA media aides and 25 media assistants to be included in the council.
The Governor’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, disclosed this on Monday while receiving members of the No Vacancy Movement, led by its initiator, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, during a courtesy visit to present the group’s conceptual framework, aims and objectives.
Nasir said the directive was intended to ensure that no one was left out of the campaign council, particularly media personnel who had previously contributed to campaign communication and mobilisation.

“Governor Radda has directed that nobody should be left out of the campaign council. You are to be part of the council, and you do not need to wait for your names to appear on any list before recognising your responsibilities,” he said.
He explained that the campaign would adopt a bottom-up approach, prioritising participation at ward and community levels rather than relying solely on political activities coordinated from major cities.
“This campaign is different from previous campaigns. We are all returning to our respective wards because this is a grassroots-driven movement. Nobody is more important than the contributions they make to their communities,” Nasir stated.
He urged the media aides and assistants to remain united and focused, using their experience to communicate the administration’s policies, programmes and achievements and to strengthen grassroots engagement for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Chief of Staff also cautioned them against distractions from social media commentaries, urging them to counter misinformation with credible information and verifiable facts. He pledged his support for the No Vacancy Movement and its mobilisation activities.
Earlier, the movement’s initiator, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, said the group was established as a grassroots mobilisation and rapid-response platform to communicate the achievements of the Radda administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Kaula said the movement intended to respond to claims that the government had done little for the people by presenting verified facts, documented projects and official information.
He identified security, infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth development and women’s empowerment as key areas of government intervention the movement planned to highlight.
According to him, the group would establish structures across the 34 LGAs and 361 wards through community visits, stakeholder meetings, public sensitisation, media engagement and digital communication.
He said the movement’s slogan, “There Is No Vacancy. Stand With Radda,” reflected its advocacy for continuity and its intention to mobilise grassroots support for Governor Radda and the APC.

The movement also expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to promote awareness of Federal Government policies and programmes and strengthen grassroots engagement in support of the Tinubu-Dikko political partnership.
Those present at the meeting included the movement’s Secretary, Abba Muazu Yantumaki; Coordinator, Bashir Ya’u; Public Relations Officer, Aminu Habibu Dutsinma; and other members.
