Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has visited victims of a road accident involving All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates from Sabuwa Local Government Area, which claimed one life and left several others injured.
The deceased, identified as Dalhat Machika, died following the incident, which occurred while the delegates were travelling to attend the APC North-West Zonal Congress in Kaduna.
Among those injured are former Deputy Governor, Sirajo Umar Damari, and the APC Chairman of Sabuwa Local Government Area. Both are currently receiving treatment at the Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital, where the governor paid a condolence and sympathy visit shortly after the congress.

During the visit, Governor Radda expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and sympathised with the injured victims, praying for their quick recovery. He also assured them of the state government’s support in addressing their medical and welfare needs.
The governor was accompanied by the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari; his Chief of Staff, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; and other senior government officials.
