Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has nominated two new commissioner-designates and approved several key appointments in his administration.
The governor forwarded the names of Alhaji Muhammad Sani Ali Ahmad and Alhaji Mannir Ayuba Sullubawa to the Katsina State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners.
In a separate appointment, Barrister Suleiman Mohammed Namadi was named Managing Director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency.
Governor Radda also approved the appointment of Hajiya Jamila Salman, Alhaji Ibrahim Danjuma and Hon. Muddasir Mati as Senior Special Assistants.
Similarly, Alhaji Musa Dankawu and Alhaji Abdulfatah Kafur were appointed as Special Assistants to the Governor.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
Radda charged the appointees to align with his administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda and focus on delivering tangible results for the people of the state.
Describing the appointments as a call to service, the governor urged the new officials to bring their experience, integrity and dedication to bear in their respective roles as the state advances its development programmes.
