Old female students of the former Women Arabic Teachers’ College, Dutsinma, Katsina State, on Tuesday, December 30, 2026, held their 30-year reunion at the school premises, now known as Government Girls’ Arabic Secondary School, Dutsinma.

The reunion brought together members of the 1995, 1996 and 1997 graduating sets, who returned to their alma mater to reconnect, reflect on their shared experiences and celebrate three decades since leaving the college.

One of the major highlights of the event was the honour bestowed on some of their former teachers whose dedication left lasting impressions on the students’ lives. An emotional atmosphere filled the venue when their former Mathematics teacher, Malam Hamisu Abdu Bakori, was invited to stand for recognition.
