The Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasiru Yahya Daura, has declared his intention to contest the Daura Zone senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.
The Speaker made his ambition known after submitting a formal letter of interest to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State.
