The Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced that third-term academic activities for the 2025/2026 session will proceed as scheduled, with schools resuming on Monday, April 27, 2026.
In a statement issued on April 18, the ministry clarified that there will be no holiday before the resumption date, directing all students to remain in school and continue academic activities as planned.
The ministry said the decision was taken to ensure adequate coverage of the curriculum and improve students’ academic performance across the state.
It urged parents, guardians, school administrators, and teachers to take note of the directive and ensure full compliance.
The statement also appreciated stakeholders for their continued support toward the development of education in Katsina State.
