Governor Dikko Umaru Radda on Friday led a high-powered state delegation to attend the funeral prayer of the late Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board, Engr. Tukur Hassan Tingilin.
The Janazah prayer was conducted shortly after the Jumu’ah service at the Malumfashi Central Mosque. It was led by the Honourable Khadi of Katsina State, Mutawakkil Mustapha Salis.
Members of the delegation included Deputy Governor Faruk Lawal Jobe; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasir Yahaya Daura; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; members of the State Executive Council; and lawmakers from the State House of Assembly.
Also in attendance were local government chairmen, the District Head of Malumfashi, Sadiq Abdullahi Mahuta; the Galadiman Katsina; traditional rulers; business leaders; and other dignitaries.
Prayers were offered for the repose of the deceased and for strength and patience for his family, colleagues, and the people of Malumfashi Local Government Area to bear the loss.
