KATSINA, Nigeria – In a recent meeting with key stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has urged the establishment of a committee to identify and acknowledge individuals who have made significant contributions to the party and the development of Katsina State.

During a visit from the APC Stakeholders Forum, led by State Chairman Alhaji Salisu Mamman Kadandani, Governor Radda emphasized the importance of recognizing the efforts of those who have supported the party and his administration. The delegation included party elders, commissioners, advisers, and local government chairmen from all 34 local government areas in the state.
“I propose that you establish a committee to identify those who have contributed significantly to our political process, allowing us to properly recognize their sacrifices,” Governor Radda stated. He expressed confidence that the government would support the committee’s efforts to honor those who have worked diligently for the party and the state.
The Governor characterized the visit as a testament to the unity and loyalty within the APC, thanking stakeholders for their continuous support. “Your presence here today reflects the unity and strength of our great party and our shared commitment to the peace and development of Katsina State,” he said.
Radda highlighted the critical roles of the APC Stakeholders Forum and the Renewed Hope Initiative in promoting grassroots mobilization and political education. He stressed the necessity of fostering discipline, inclusiveness, and collective responsibility among party leaders, declaring that “our strength lies in our unity,” which is vital for sustainable development and future electoral success.

Alhaji Salisu Mamman Kadandani praised the Governor for his visionary leadership and the tangible achievements of his administration in areas such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and security. He noted that these accomplishments have helped restore public confidence in governance and ensure that the benefits of democracy reach local communities.
Adding to the discussions, Alhaji Tukur Ahmad Jikamshi, State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative and former Deputy Governor, affirmed the initiative’s broad acceptance in Katsina. He stated that the APC is well-positioned for the upcoming 2027 general elections, citing the Governor’s impactful projects as a source of confidence when engaging with grassroots constituents.
