Dr. Hauwa Umar Radda, popularly known as Khadimatul Islam of Nigeria and President of the Hauwa Radda Mu’assatul Khairiyya Foundation, has congratulated Muslims on the commemoration of the Maulud of Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass.
In a message to mark the occasion, Dr. Radda offered special prayers for visiting faithful, asking Allah to grant them a safe stay in Katsina and a safe return to their respective destinations. She also called for continued prayers for Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, seeking divine guidance and strength for him to effectively shoulder the responsibility of leading the state.
As part of activities marking the Maulud, Dr. Hauwa Umar Radda received several prominent Islamic scholars who paid her courtesy visits in Katsina. Among them were the Khalifa of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru Bauchi; the National Chairman of Munazzamatul Fityanul Islam, Sheikh Abdullahi Salga; and Sheikh Tayyib Khalifa Haruna Rashid of Kano.
The clerics visited to honour Dr. Radda, express appreciation, and offer prayers for peace and progress in Katsina State and for Governor Dikko Umar Radda. They also extended goodwill messages to their host.
In her response, Dr. Hauwa Radda, who is the former wife of late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua and elder sister of Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, thanked the scholars for the visit, reciprocated their prayers, and wished them a safe journey back home.
She also received other eminent scholars who are in Katsina for the Maulud of Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass, including Umar Ibrahim Sheikh Isyaka Rabiu of Kano and Khalifa Mahi Sheikh Abdul’razaq Kusa from Niger Republic.
According to Dr. Radda, the visits are aimed at strengthening bonds of brotherhood, religious cooperation, and goodwill. She expressed deep appreciation for the continued show of respect and solidarity by the visiting scholars.
