The member representing Bakori–Danja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai (Tafidan Danja), has launched a three-day capacity-building workshop for Islamic scholars and Imams across the constituency as part of efforts to strengthen religious education and community enlightenment.

The workshop brought together about 550 Islamic scholars and Imams from Bakori and Danja local government areas. During the programme, a total of 10,200 books covering various Islamic and educational fields were distributed to participants to enhance teaching, learning and the dissemination of knowledge within their communities.

In continuation of his constituency engagements, Hon. Dabai also visited Da’iya Kahutu community, where he formally commissioned six newly constructed classrooms and an office block, fully furnished with seating facilities. The project is expected to improve access to quality education for children in the area.

The lawmaker further visited the towns of Dabai and Tudun Ja’e to attend a wedding ceremony and to commiserate with the family of the late Malam Amadu Talli, a respected community member who passed away in the previous week.
As part of measures to ensure sustainability, Hon. Dabai officially handed over the Da’iya community school to the Secretary of the Danja Local Government Education Authority for proper management and continued government oversight. He expressed hope that with collective support and divine guidance, the facilities would be well maintained for the benefit of future generations.
