Katsina Governor Appoints Three New Permanent Secretaries

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, has approved the appointment of three new Permanent Secretaries into the State Civil Service.

The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the Head of Civil Service of the State, Mallam Falalu Bawale.

Those appointed are Tukur Hassan Ɗan’Ali from Dandamusa Local Government Area, Junaidu Muntari from Kankara Local Government Area, and Yahaya Abdullahi from Safana Local Government Area.

Until his new appointment, Tukur Hassan Ɗan’Ali served as Director of Information at the Ministry of Information, Katsina State, and is also the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina State Council.

According to the statement, the appointments were strictly based on merit, as the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries successfully attempted and passed a merit-based examination conducted by the Public Service Institute of Nigeria on behalf of the Katsina State Government.

The Head of Civil Service urged the new Permanent Secretaries to discharge their duties with diligence, professionalism and a strong commitment to the best interests of the Katsina State Civil Service.
